Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Before Submission

  • Before submitting the article, the corresponding author should read the journal's Publication Ethics, Open Access policy, and Plagiarism Policy.
  • Authors should ensure that the article has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • All authors of the paper must approve publication/Submission.
  • Authors should carefully list and order their names on the article's first page.
  • An author's name will not be added or deleted after article acceptance. 

Submission

  • Authors should submit the article through the journal's on-line submission system, which can be done using the Register. On successful registration, the author can upload the article. 
  • Authors should note that all submitted articles are refereed through a blind peer review process.
  • Articles should be formatted according to the Journal Template.
  • The abstract should be 200-250 words and 4-6 keywords.
  • The number within square brackets should cite references in the text. At the end of the paper, they should be listed in the order they appear in the text. The Journal follows the IEEE referencing style.

After Submission

  • The editor will completely screen the submitted paper (similarity index, paper quality, scope and paper completeness).
  • Then, the paper is assigned to the expert reviewers (2-3) for peer review.
  • The reviewer reviews the paper within a month and provides the review reports to the editor.
  • The editor then processes the review reports, and a decision of rejection/revision is made based on the review report.
  • For the revision, the review reports are forwarded to the author for a thorough reply within a month, and then the same process (starting from (A)) is carried out after the revision submission.

After Acceptance

  • Authors will be notified about the acceptance/rejection of the paper through email.
  • Accepted manuscript will be sent to the corresponding author for proofreading. No editing or proofreading will be allowed after the publication of an article.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Publication Decisions

The editor of IJEET is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers must always drive such decisions. The editors may be guided by the policies of the journal’s editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.

An editor evaluates manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.

Our Journal is an open-access journal that addresses complaints against its editorial committee/ board or publisher. We respond immediately through emails, and all kinds of complaints are taken up with the authority overseeing research journals.

 Confidentiality

The editor and his editorial team must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal. They will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s research without the author's written consent.

Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts with conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
